This is the e-mail sent
Saturday, October 28, 2006 10:19 a.m., from Stashia
Rose, as detailed in The Heidcamp Report of
11-2-06
Dear
Mr.Heidecamp,
Do you not have
anything better to do with your time then to bash
the local school system and the group of members
who have tried and try so hard to give our children
the best education possible? I strongly suggest
that you take a step back and look at all the other
things you could be doing to help this community
rather than sitting at your computer patronizing a
group of individuals that you do not even know.
Grow up and get a life.
Sincerely,
Stashia Rose

This letter, reprinted
here with permission, was received 10-17-06 from
Mrs. Price, a retired Saugerties School
teacher
George:
I was amazed at the quote from Mr. Rhau that
appeared in the Freeman for Tuesday October 17. He
was quoted as saying that retro pay for teachers
may not be approved until they see how the money
shakes out????
Did he think of that when he was given all his
raises or when he gave his office workers raises?
Did he think of the money situation when he accepts
a buy out on his health insurance each and every
year-a buyout which is about ten thousand dollars
more than teachers get who opt out of the
Saugerties health care system. How about when he
makes calls on his cell phone or when he goes to
conferences which by the way, most teachers have
not been allowed to go to because "there was no
money." How about thinking about the money when
Mrs. Nucifero charges the district for mileage when
she goes from school to school? Isn't that her
job--to visit schools? How about finding out about
Mr. Dziadik's former performance record at other
districts? While I'm at it, perhaps Mr. Rhau and
Company believe that they only have to follow laws
they like. For example,Mr. Rhau quotes from the
Taylor Law when teachers mention a job action, but
he completely forgets that a Federal judge,Judge
Kahn, forbade the district from using the
Communication Protocol which they reinstated in the
Teachers" Handbook this year. I always thought that
Saugerties was part of the US and that the First
Amendment applied there. I guess Mr. Rhau thinks
differently.

The following e-mail was

anonymous.
"Mr. Heidcamp:
What can we do to stop such outlandish actions
being taken by Mr Rhau? It seems to me that the
state should take some kind of action! It is absurd
that Mr. Rhau and his comrades think that they can
just rape the hard working tax payers of
Saugerties. If he is doing something illegal,
should he be made to pay for his actions! It seems
to me that this SCHOOL trip that he and his family
took was really illegal. Thinking that he can
charge the district is insulting to everyone in the
Saugerties School District."

The following e-mail was
received 9/14 from a writer who wants to remain
anonymous. See, also, Watchdog footnote*,
below.
" It so happens that my grand kids go to
that school district and I knew about this over a
year ago. I personally question Bob McCaig about it
over a year ago and he told me the board knew all
about it before they voted to hire him.
"I do not know the whole story but I can tell
you the people of Fabius and Pompey sure are not
happy with him. Big tax jump this year to
recover."
*According to four-board
members Tucker, MacIsaac, Petramale and Fisco, they
were never told by Rhau about Joe Dziadik's
"baggage," However, according to the above e-mail,
Don McCaig knew all about it." ...

Keep up the good work
George,
Continue to expose the arrogant and
insufferable people who believe that they "own" the
Saugerties Bd. of Education. They are supposed to
represent the people of Saugerties and also look
out for the children. These arrogant and
insufferable Board members and administrators talk
the talk about putting the children first, but it
appears that they do not want to walk the walk.
I have never seen so many incompetent and
foolish administrators. Thank you.

Here's an Email we received about our
8/17 newspaper article, which mentioned the Mary Gambino
controversy. The writer of this Email asked we post their
repsonse on this web site.

Our 8/17 Article

"Why everone else had to go back to school to get more
education and mary gambino didnt go. why is that? people
that send there kids to school want there child to learn by
a techer that has there education and is up to date with the
state what they need to help these kids out for the
furture.but here a person might good with kids but everyone
else had to go back to school.I think it dumm that
Mrs.Gambino alway has something in the paper how she was so
good with the kids.it she was so good why dont she still has
her job yet.Special Friends program in Riccardi school aides
had to go back to school for education, and they all pass. If
Mary want to make a big deal out of her job, send her ass
back to school.then you will see how much school she really
had. Did she finish high school? did anyone ever check out
her background. "

The writer of the following e-mail
requested that we post this opinion regarding the evaluation
of Rhau and Nucifaro:
Subject: An anomynous evaluation of
Rhau & Nuciforo
8/21/2006, 5:27 p.m.
You both act like you have no character, because you are
up to no good when no one mindful, is breathing down your
backs. The tax paying citizens of our community deserve
better. You need a baby sitter and that is a shame. The
school board is not prepared for this task. You are selfish
and you are beyond hope of ever being decent and respected
leaders. You are hopeless opportunists and your conduct can
not be defended. You have failed miserably at your jobs, and
it is too bad the children have to suffer now and for years
after you are gone, because of the following two
characteristics, your arrogance and your incompetence. You
call yourselves teachers. You and your type are like
vampires and need to stay away from our children. Why?,
because all that you care about is your thirst for money,
and / or, what you can suck from our school district, and as
a consequence, the children be damned. Pack up your bells
and whistles, for we are tired of your song and dance, and
that man who calls himself a business administrator do the
same.
