School Budget Analysis SAGA has compiled, the Saugerties Central School District, actual budget figures from 2003-2004, 2004-2005, and 2005-2006, for a comparative analysis and perspective, regarding the proposed school budget for 2006-2007. We used the identical format used by the school system to present the figures in the areas of General Support, Instruction, Pupil Transportation and Undistributed. The analysis not only presents the current year increases, we extend our study to provide a three-year budget history and summary. Undistributed expenditures, including employee benefits, show the greatest three-year percentage of increase at 43.47%, while Instruction expenditures reflect the least at 16.74%. Student enrollment has shown a slight decline, while per student expenditures have grown.
