Re: Saugerties School
District
As you are probably aware, I
am trying to seek out the truth with respect to the
hiring of Joseph Dziaik as our Business
Administrator. As you may know, I have uncovered
what, in my opinion, is a serious scandal
involving Mr Dziadik at his last place of
employment at the Fabius-Pompey School District
(and which had been made public). School officials
there have accused Dziadik of withholding
information from the board and the superintendent
concerning shortages in their budget that resulted
in a $600,000 deficit. The deficiency eventually
cost the taxpayers of that district a 21% increase
in their taxes. At least three board members have
assured me that they had "no knowledge" of the
problems in Fabius-Pompey before they voted to hire
Joe Dziadik and further assured me that if they had
known, they would not have hired him. I have also
received an e-mail from an individual who claims to
have spoken personally to board member McCaig a
year ago about the problem with Joe Dziadik.
McCaig is alleged to have told this individual
that the board knew all about it before they hired
him (Dziadik). If this is true, someone is
obviously not being truthful. With the striking
inconsistencies about what really took place, I am
attempting, as a concerned citizen, to uncover the
truth about who knew what and request your
cooperation in doing so. Accordingly, please let
me know if you, personally, had any knowledge
what-so-ever regarding Joe Dziaik's problem in
Fabius-Pompy School District prior to his being
hired? Thank you in advance for your anticipated
cooperation, and I look forward to your response.
